Background

Lettuce Feed You is a busy, on the go food company. They do catering, mirco markets, and vending machines in the Topeka, Kansas capital building and surrounding areas. With such a fun name, they needed an identity that matched. The logo also needed to be able to work well in the various circumstances and markets they have.

Exploration

There was some obvious imagery to go with - lettuce. But I wanted to try out all the various layouts and options that goes with that. The client wanted to keep things pretty simple, so I mostly explored line drawings. I tried both hand lettering and various typefaces to see what would work best. Ultimately, we ended up with a customized typeface and a patch of color.

Identity finalization

For their menus, I focused on easy to read layouts that are also simple to update when needed. With the green swatches throughout it adds the interest and their personality. They also needed t-shirts and uniforms of course!
